What is This All About?
The UHM Compost Project is a student run initiative to reduce food waste that is produced by the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus. This project also aims to educate the campus community about waste issues that we are facing as a state and country.
This project is a collaboration of the UHM student farm SOFT (Student Organic Farm Training program), and Sustainable UH student team. Together, we are working towards creating a more sustainable future through sustainable farming practices and establishing the University of Hawaii as a world leader in sustainable education, research and practices.
